Pasadena Playhouse presents The Lizard & El Sol. Designed especially for children ages 0 – 5 and their families, each interactive performance runs about 20 – 25 minutes and includes a pre-show gathering with live music and a post-show arts & crafts activity for kids.

Adapted from Alma Flor Ada’s cherished folktale set in Mexico, the vibrant bilingual story of The Lizard & El Sol follows a tiny but brave lizard on a quest to bring back the missing sun. Along the way, audiences will discover a heartwarming tale about perseverance, friendship, and the light we all bring to the world.
The play is presented primarily in Spanish, but is designed to be enjoyed and understood by both Spanish and non-Spanish speakers. Open to friends, neighbors, and the community.
