Clothing Swap

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND, ONE LAST SWAP BEFORE 2026!

Join us for a MEMBERS-ONLY MAEVE Clothing Swap happening.
Our Admin Deana has graciously offered her front yard for a swap!

This event has a suggested entry fee of $15, to pay for ethical recycling via SUAY and Ridwell and to continue our community missions, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

You need not bring anything to participate! If you do bring items, please limit to 2 grocery bags of clothes/shoes in very good condition (no stains/holes/pilled and must be clean).

The theme is WINTER and EARLY SPRING! Baby, kids, adult, maternity are all accepted. Don’t forget your cloth bags to take home goodies!

If you’re unable to make it to the event but would still like to donate clothes, email us and we will find a close volunteer to drop off to. RSVP BELOW FOR ADDRESS!

MAEVE Learns: Get Ready for Potty Training with Good To Go

Virtual Meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86587024905?pwd=rX0aDkSGeKxfyN4p00aBDYc9DXrPHL.1
Meeting ID: 865 8702 4905
Passcode: MAEVE

Join MAEVE Mt. Washington - Glassell Park for a conversation with Gia Gambaro Blount and Laura Birek, NELA moms and authors of the new hit book: Good to Go, A Fresh Take on Potty Training for Today's Intentional Parent. They will join us to teach some of their proven potty training methods in this informative, entertaining session.

Their book is described as, "a practical and utterly-relatable guide that empowers parents to navigate potty training with confidence and ease.

Potty-training methods all seem to follow one of two concepts: either waiting forever to see “signs of readiness” or resigning yourself to an intense and messy three-day naked weekend. But these approaches fail to align with today's more respectful, intentional, and collaborative parenting styles.

Good to Go is here to fix that, teaching 90% of the potty-training skills children need before ditching the diapers."

MAEVE Toy and Book Swap

Clean out your kids' toy boxes and give a second life to those gently-used toys and books that aren't getting played with. This is the perfect way to make space in your home before the holidays and stock up on some new-to-you gifts for your little ones!

A wonderful local pre-school, Segray, is donating use of their beautiful courtyard for this event. Kiddos are welcome, but please plan to keep a close eye on them to ensure we respect Segray's space. Or, leave them at home so you can surprise them later with your newfound treasures!

This event is for MAEVE Members and Segray Families only.

There is a small parking lot at Segray, and street parking is also available.

Any unclaimed toys at the end of the event will be brought to the Buy Nothing event MAEVE is participating in on 11/15 (see calendar for details).
